*Main post at myspace & copied here* I have over 600 "friends" on myspace. Which is fantastic! Except when trying to write a blog because I get all paranoid thinking: OMG 600 people are going to read this? I mean we aren't talking about a how-to guide for creating the ritual mood here, we're talking personal updates on my life. So telling you all how I got dumped by yet another guy doesn't exactly sit well with me. But its the truth. And I'd rather be honest than lie my butt off. Besides it always made me shutter when people sent me messages saying things like "your life must be so cool!" It's so not. Especially during times like this. I get dumped like everyone else (hasn't happened to you yet? lucky!). Let me tell you - it hurts like hell. Especially when you pretty much fell in love and weren't expecting it. So for the past few weeks I've been sitting around thinking, no obsessing about what I could have done differently. I guess there were a few things. . . But more so my focus simply *has* to be moving forward. Maybe not with a new relationship just yet, but life. I've had some really amazing friends helping me through this time. Thank you friends, you know who you are, you're fabulous. I seriously don't know how you put up with me! So future things, right, okay. I am finally going to transfer out of my community college to a big bad university. I always assumed I'd major in English or Writing. That was just "my path," or "meant to be." Right. Right?!? Actually . . . I am leaning towards something else. I am going to keep mum about it until I've fully 100% decided. As always, the e-zine (my baby) will continue to be a part of my future. The semi-new blog/magazine hybrid format has worked out great. I spend more time on the articles, interviews, book reviews themselves than formatting. Going it old school was a pain in my Wiccan ass. Honestly. Now its so streamlined. I love the direction its heading it. Have you read some of these fantastic articles lately? Oh my gosh, go now and read: Copper Moon E-zine. I hope everyone here, all 600 of you have been doing well. Its spring break time so for my high school and college myspace friends I offer you words of wisdom: Do wear sunscreen; Do *not* drink and drive; Check in with your parents (they really do care); and have safe responsible fun. Until next update . . . Love & Light, Winter Update from Gwinevere Rain

Hey Friends,
It has been sometime since I updated my blog. Lots has happened in my life since November. I somehow survived my British Literature class (and got an "A" too!). My college went on Winter Break for a few weeks. I actually managed to de-stress. It was so nice to stop worrying about homework and essay deadlines! During this time I grabed a new boyfriend, who is pretty fantastic. Since we are still new i'll hold off on plastering of photographs everywhere :) But the start of this new relationship has made me more happy and extreamly greatful. I was sick right around Yule and X-mas. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. By the way, as word of advice, don't watch crazy movies like Enternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind which fighting a fever. It will mess with your head in unbelievable ways! lol :) As to the e-zine, Copper Moon, I am working hard to keep it going. I am in the process of combining my author website Gothic-Rain with Copper Moon. Details can be found here . It is both an exciting and arguous process. It will take some time and more than a few weekends to fully complete. However, I believe the end result will be worth it! I'd love to read more submissions. If you are 13 to 26 years old and interested in contributing, please visit the writers guidelines page! What's next for me? Spring semester at school full time and keeping the e-zine going, because its a worthwhile site that can make a difference for young adult Wiccan/Pagan practitioners. Stay warm and healthy! Hi Guys,
It's September! I am so happy because that means Mabon (fall equinox) is approaching and the Florida air should finally start cooling off. This summer has been way too hot, I have long dreamed of the cool fall winds. Mabon will be on September 23 this year. Mark your datebooks and start your ritual planning! One other item to take note of is a program on the National Geographic channel tonight will feature Wiccans. For more detailed information visit this post on Copper Moon: On a more personal note, I have moved into a new place (the county below where I previously lived). Moving, they say is one of the most stressful things you can go through. I believe that fully and completely lol! But all is getting settled now. I am adjusting and looking forward to investing my time back into my blog magazines. Speaking of . . . Submit your articles, write about anything Wiccan/Pagan related. It can be an opinion piece, how-to, essay on topics like Magick, Coming Out of the Broomcloset, Creating Your Own Tools, Mabon Ritual Suggestions, How You Connect with Goddess/God, Drying Herbs, Charging Crystals for Healing. The topics are limitless. Sincerely, Please Visit My websites:
